What happens to my privacy policy URL if I stop paying?
It stays live. Declora does not take down published store URLs because active management ended. That is Safe Mode — and it is the honest answer competitors often avoid.

Why this matters for App Store Connect and Google Play
Reviewers and users open the URLs you paste into store listing fields. If those links 404 because a SaaS subscription lapsed, you look unreliable — and you may fail review. Declora separates publication from management: expiry never equals unpublish.
When should you renew?
Renewal is optional. There is no automatic charge. Renew ($9/app/year) when you need to edit again — or when Apple or Google guidance changes and your frozen pages or answers are no longer accurate. Stale disclosures are a real risk; staying on an outdated passport is the pain Safe Mode cannot hide.
Declora watches for Declora-side rules and catalog updates affecting your Passport and can email you when a Safe Mode passport is out of date relative to current guidance.
Compared to “host forever or vanish”
Some tools imply pages die with the subscription. Others bury the fine print. Declora states it up front: published URLs remain available in read-only Safe Mode. You renew for active work and freshness — not to keep a link from disappearing.
Refunds
If Declora is not useful, request a refund within 14 days of purchase through Stripe support or hello@declora.app. Full refunds revoke paid management; published pages may remain in Safe Mode per our Terms.
